During my remote internship in Social Media Marketing at Cogent IBS, located in Bingham Center, United States, I had the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in executing effective social media campaigns and driving brand engagement in the digital landscape.
As an intern, my primary responsibility was to support the social media marketing team in developing and implementing strategies across various social media platforms. I actively contributed to content creation, scheduling, ensuring consistent brand messaging, and engaging with the target audience. Working closely with the team, I gained practical knowledge in utilizing social media management tools to schedule and monitor posts, analyze engagement metrics, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. This allowed me to contribute to data-driven decision-making and optimization of social media campaigns. I learned how to tailor content for different platforms while maintaining brand consistency and adhering to industry best practices.
Throughout my internship, I demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring that tasks were completed within deadlines and in alignment with project objectives. I also actively sought feedback from my supervisor and team members, continuously striving to improve and enhance my skills in social media marketing.

I completed my postgraduate degree in Digital and Content Marketing from York University, located in Toronto. Throughout my program, I focused on a range of core subjects that equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
The key area of study was social media marketing, where I gained a deep understanding of various social media platforms and how to leverage them effectively to reach target audiences, build brand awareness, and engage with customers. I learned about the best practices for content creation, scheduling, and community management, enabling me to develop and implement successful social media strategies. Content marketing was another significant focus of my studies. I learned how to create compelling and engaging content that resonates with target audiences, aligns with brand messaging, and drives desired actions. I gained expertise in content strategy development, content creation across various formats (such as blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics), and content distribution and promotion.
Another essential aspect of my degree was Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). I gained valuable insights into optimizing websites to improve organic search rankings, enhance visibility, and drive targeted traffic. Additionally, I learned how to develop and execute SEM campaigns, including keyword research, ad creation, and bid management, to maximize conversions and ROI. Email marketing was another core subject in my program. This knowledge allows me to create personalized and impactful email marketing campaigns that deliver tangible results. I also learned how to analyze landing page performance and conduct A/B testing to continuously improve conversion rates.

In my portfolio, I would describe my postgraduate degree in Project Management from Cambrian College as a pivotal milestone in my professional journey. This program equipped me with a solid foundation in project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, enabling me to effectively plan, execute, and deliver projects of varying scales and complexities.
Throughout my studies, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the project management lifecycle, from initiating and planning to executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. I developed proficiency in using project management tools and software to create detailed project plans, define project scope and objectives, allocate resources, and establish realistic timelines and budgets. I acquired skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that may impact project outcomes. In addition to risk management, I gained expertise in managing project stakeholders. I learned effective communication techniques to engage and collaborate with team members, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders. My primary function was to conduct in-depth research on the electric vehicle market in Nepal, as well as the rising demand in the cement industry. Additionally, I had the responsibility of creating and updating website content for Kedia Organisation.
I had the opportunity to contribute to website content creation for Kedia Organisation. This involved writing engaging and informative content that effectively showcased the company's products, services, and expertise. I collaborated with various teams within the organization to understand their offerings and translate them into compelling website content. This experience allowed me to enhance my writing skills and develop a keen understanding of tailoring content to specific target audiences.
Similarly, in the cement industry, I conducted extensive research to identify and understand the drivers behind the rising demand.
