Social Media Marketing Intern

 During my remote internship in Social Media Marketing at Cogent IBS, located in Bingham Center, United States, I had the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in executing effective social media campaigns and driving brand engagement in the digital landscape.

 As an intern, my primary responsibility was to support the social media marketing team in developing and implementing strategies across various social media platforms. I actively contributed to content creation, scheduling, ensuring consistent brand messaging, and engaging with the target audience. Working closely with the team, I gained practical knowledge in utilizing social media management tools to schedule and monitor posts, analyze engagement metrics, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. This allowed me to contribute to data-driven decision-making and optimization of social media campaigns. I learned how to tailor content for different platforms while maintaining brand consistency and adhering to industry best practices.

 Throughout my internship, I demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring that tasks were completed within deadlines and in alignment with project objectives. I also actively sought feedback from my supervisor and team members, continuously striving to improve and enhance my skills in social media marketing.

Post Graduate in Digital and Content Marketing                                     earned 2022

 I completed my postgraduate degree in Digital and Content Marketing from York University, located in Toronto. Throughout my program, I focused on a range of core subjects that equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the digital marketing landscape.

 The key area of study was social media marketing, where I gained a deep understanding of various social media platforms and how to leverage them effectively to reach target audiences, build brand awareness, and engage with customers. I learned about the best practices for content creation, scheduling, and community management, enabling me to develop and implement successful social media strategies. Content marketing was another significant focus of my studies. I learned how to create compelling and engaging content that resonates with target audiences, aligns with brand messaging, and drives desired actions. I gained expertise in content strategy development, content creation across various formats (such as blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics), and content distribution and promotion.

 Another essential aspect of my degree was Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). I gained valuable insights into optimizing websites to improve organic search rankings, enhance visibility, and drive targeted traffic. Additionally, I learned how to develop and execute SEM campaigns, including keyword research, ad creation, and bid management, to maximize conversions and ROI. Email marketing was another core subject in my program. This knowledge allows me to create personalized and impactful email marketing campaigns that deliver tangible results. I also learned how to analyze landing page performance and conduct A/B testing to continuously improve conversion rates.

 Overall, my postgraduate degree in Digital and Content Marketing from York University provided me with a comprehensive understanding of various digital marketing disciplines. Through the specialized coursework on social media marketing, SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and landing page optimization, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and execute effective digital marketing strategies in today's competitive landscape.


Marketing and Creative Coordinator

As a Market and Creative Coordinator at Sooters Photography, I played a crucial role in driving marketing initiatives and overseeing the creative aspects of the company's photography services. In this position, I contributed to both the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns while ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.

 One of my primary responsibilities was developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Sooters Photography and its services. I collaborated with the marketing team to identify target audiences, conduct market research, and analyze industry trends. With this information, I crafted compelling marketing messages and designed tailored campaigns to effectively reach and resonate with our target market. As a creative coordinator, I worked closely with the photography team to ensure that our visual content aligned with our brand identity and resonated with our target audience. I collaborated on photoshoot planning, including location scouting, prop selection, and talent coordination. I also assisted in post-production activities, such as editing and retouching images, to deliver high-quality final products.

 Furthermore, I played a key role in enhancing the customer experience by coordinating client communication and managing inquiries. I also collaborated with cross-functional teams, including photographers, and graphic designers, to achieve cohesive and impactful marketing collateral.

In my portfolio, I would describe my postgraduate degree in Project Management from Cambrian College as a pivotal milestone in my professional journey. This program equipped me with a solid foundation in project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, enabling me to effectively plan, execute, and deliver projects of varying scales and complexities.

 Throughout my studies, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the project management lifecycle, from initiating and planning to executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. I developed proficiency in using project management tools and software to create detailed project plans, define project scope and objectives, allocate resources, and establish realistic timelines and budgets. I acquired skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that may impact project outcomes. In addition to risk management, I gained expertise in managing project stakeholders. I learned effective communication techniques to engage and collaborate with team members, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders. This enabled me to facilitate productive teamwork, manage conflicts, and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Market Research Intern

During my Market Research internship at Kedia Organisation, I had the opportunity to delve into various projects focused on market opportunities and industry trends. My primary function was to conduct in-depth research on the electric vehicle market in Nepal, as well as the rising demand in the cement industry. Additionally, I had the responsibility of creating and updating website content for Kedia Organisation.

 I had the opportunity to contribute to website content creation for Kedia Organisation. This involved writing engaging and informative content that effectively showcased the company's products, services, and expertise. I collaborated with various teams within the organization to understand their offerings and translate them into compelling website content. This experience allowed me to enhance my writing skills and develop a keen understanding of tailoring content to specific target audiences.

 Similarly, in the cement industry, I conducted extensive research to identify and understand the drivers behind the rising demand. This involved analyzing market dynamics, studying the competitive landscape, and examining the factors influencing the growth of the industry in Nepal. Through thorough market research, I provided valuable insights and recommendations to the organization regarding potential growth opportunities and strategies to capitalize on the emerging market.

 Overall, my Market Research internship at Kedia Organisation provided me with a valuable opportunity to apply my research and analytical skills to real-world market scenarios.  Through challenging coursework and engaging projects, I expanded my knowledge and honed essential business skills. This included subjects such as marketing, finance, management, and entrepreneurship, which equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape.

 Moreover, my time at the university provided me with valuable experiences that extended beyond the classroom. By actively participating in extracurricular activities, such as student clubs and organizations, I encountered diverse perspectives and ideas. Assisted customers in person, via phone, and through digital channels, providing information, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
